My Approach

I am a warm, enthusiastic mentor who supports teens and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and relational challenges. For over a decade, I have worked with youth with complex trauma, building meaningful connections through advocacy, education, and nature-based healing. My strengths-based approach centres self-compassion, safety, and connection—helping young people feel seen, supported, and empowered. As a certified Secondary School Teacher, I specialize in holistic education guided by Indigenous ways of knowing and being. I believe every young person holds a unique gift. I walk alongside youth with care and curiosity, helping them uncover their strengths. I am also a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a focus on somatic movement and nervous system regulation. My yoga offerings are an invitation to land in the body, move energy, and build strength from within. I am passionate about using yoga as a tool for embodied healing alongside the incredible power of nature to help us heal and access our truest selves.

Hello, I’m Amelia! I am a longtime lover of the hiking, whales, and s’mores. Since I was a kid, I have spent summers exploring the mountains and finding ways to feel free in wide, open spaces. When I’m not in nature, you can find me curled up with a book, watching 2000s rom-coms, or taking yoga or dance classes. I love to travel, spend time with my dog, and laugh with my family and friends.

I’m the kind of person who always sees the light in any situation. I’m also a big foodie and will never say no to a late night bubble tea — Lychee slush all day! Ultimately, I try to balance adventure with rest, and I feel most alive when I’m connected to nature and my people.
