My Approach

For more than ten years, I have had the honour of working with youth and families, which has deeply influenced my understanding of the essential role relationships play in promoting healing and growth. I support youth, families, and adults in reconnecting with themselves, each other, their stories, and the land. Rooted in a trauma-informed and relational approach, I believe that wounds created in relationship are often healed in relationship. I integrate talk therapy with nature-based practices to create space for grounding, reflection, and meaningful change. I see each person as the expert in their own life, shaped by the systems around them—family, culture, community, and society. Whether we’re walking a trail, sitting by a fire, or in quiet conversation, I meet clients where they’re at—with empathy, curiosity, and no judgment. I believe showing up is a courageous act, and it’s often the first step toward transformation.
