Somatic Yoga
What it is
Somatic Yoga at Ember Centre is a gentle, trauma-informed approach to yoga that centers on the connection between the body, mind, and breath.
Led by Ember’s 500-hour Yoga Teacher, each session is designed to help participants regulate their nervous system, reconnect with themselves, and release the emotional and physical weight they may be carrying. Through slow, conscious movement, imagery, breathwork, and deep listening to the body’s internal messages, Somatic Yoga becomes a pathway toward self-awareness, resiliency, and balance.
This offering is especially supportive for youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or burnout, and for anyone simply seeking stillness and presence in a fast-paced world.
